See Paak Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Ate here on a Tuesday evening around 1700hrs. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Service was decent but somewhat unwelcoming. Took a while to be greeted and wound up just picking our own table. No AC, and limited fans but luckily it was a fairly cool evening compared to the previous nights. Ordered the chicken wings, 3pc ribs, and BBQ bacon burger along with a mojito and a beer. Beverages came out cold and in a timely manner. Food followed shortly after. Appetizers and main courses were served at the same time. Chicken wings were VERY good and just the right amount of spiciness to them. Although, if you don't like heat, I'd strongly recommend you steer clear. The burger didn't come cooked-to-order but was grilled to a standard medium and was fairly average. A decent homely BBQ restaurant in Mae Rim with reasonable price. The food can be a tad slow when there are lots of customers, but they taste great. Smoky smell from the grill and hit on the tongue black peppers in most of the dishes we ordered. They felt fresh.

The ribs were juicy and not stick on the bones. Baffalo wings aren't quite traditional, but still decent one. The side of carrot and celery sticks aren't quite fresh, though. I also wish the dipping has more of blue cheese taste and smell.

The grilled fish was also very tasty. There aren't as many cut of steak to choose from. Then again, this is not really a steakhouse. Looking forward to go back and try out...

Best barbecue chicken in Chiang Mai. Period. The rubs are amazing. Go for the spicy rub. The ribs are also stand-out - only go for three if you are seriously hungry. Chicken wings are delicious and come with a cracking blue cheese dip and a spice level to your preference. See Paak is relaxed and relaxing, it's an easy-going vibe and there is a pool table and beer served in a chilled glass to a background of Euro-pop! We've eaten here a fair amount and nothing we have chosen so far has disappointed.
