We've been made to eat at the Rabueng Na Maerim having booked our stay at the Jirung Health Village and it being the only restaurant for miles.
Unfortunately the food here is really not up to standard, with the kitchen's only apparent ability to deep fry the hell out of whatever it is you order. But that's not all, expect to wait 30mins for a fruit platter and/or coffee and to reorder it multiple times with their staff who seem easily flustered.
It is not uncommon for the staff to ignore you, only to come to tell you that they have run out of a particular food type after 30mins if waiting, this has happened twice to us now, at first for chicken and then for bananas(!).
I really would not recommend this restaurant nor the Jirung Health Village as staying here limits your ability to eat anywhere else as it is so far from everything and they have cancelled their shuttle service, ultimately giving them a monopoly where food is...

Deplorably long waits for food, which on average should take 15 minutes from order to service at busy times but actually took 90 minutes and then was mortifyingly poor in quality and size. We had to constantly ask where something was and how long it would take. The prices are those of a high end venue in Bangkok (where the speed of service and food is worthy of the price.) At this venue I'd say it didn't tick one box that really counts.
Maybe Gordon Ramsay should offer his assistance.
I would advise any potential visitor to consider an alternative place as this venue on our...
Read moreDined four times in the past year. Very good Thai food well presented. Both northern and central cuisine. The dishes were delicious on all occasions. The posted pictures by others are representative of what is served here. Reasonable prices. Four of us with several dishes and non alcoholic fruit drinks usually costs between 1200 to 1400 TBt. The table setting was nice including cloth napkins. Not the typical paper and plastic.. Good service. We tend to dine around six.The restaurant is elevated ten or twelve meters ( possibly more) above ground level with nice views...
