This review was written back in May 2024.👇🏼👇🏼

Came to check this place out because of the good reviews that mentioned how authentic this place is.

My husband had Beef (well-done) Pho and I had Chicken Pho. The Beef Pho was very good. The broth is flavorful and doesn’t requite any additional seasoning unless you enjoy adding lime or some tangy and spicy Siracha chilli sauce to your noodle soup.

My Chicken Pho wasn’t very good for the reason that the shredded chicken was very dry and didn’t have much flavor, although the broth is equally good as the Beef broth.

I order my Chicken Pho Set that comes with Pork (Fresh) Spring Roll. The rice sheet that they use to wrap the fresh rolls are, like other reviews mentioned, thicker than what’s used at other places, so the rolls don’t fall apart after taking a bite. We love the salty peanut sauce with slight amount of sweetness in it, which is very different from a typical peanut dipping sauce served in many other Vietnamese restaurant. 😊 The Pork Belly Fresh Roll taste a bit strong for my liking though.

Shrimp Fresh Spring Rolls, on the other hand is better. They came with big shrimps inside. All the veggies that came with the dishes are very fresh and crunchy.

We ordered Vietnamese Pork Pancake to go, and it was quite big and tasty. The Vietnamese fish sauce that came with the pancake was excellent with the right balance between sweetness and saltiness.

Our first experience eating here was lovely, so we decided to come back to try other dish. I also enjoy the Grilled Pork Vermicelli Salad with (Fried) Chicken Spring Roll.

The quantity was good and this dish is full of flavor. Their Grilled Pork do taste a bit similar to Sai Oua (Northern Thai Sausage) with lemongrass flavor. The sweet fish sauce accompanying this dish tastes similar to the sauce given for Fried Spring Rolls. Their Fried Spring Rolls are a bit too oily though.

Their drink menu is decent and not overwhelming with too many options. We tried Vietnamese coffee and asked for less condensed milk, it was good for this type of coffee, similar to traditional Thai coffee, which tastes stronger and has more distinct flavor when compared to regular iced-coffee.

The restaurant has air conditioning and there are about 7-8 tables, with casual ambience and pleasant music played in the background. The staff are also polite and pleasant to interact with.

Overall, this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants we have been to in Chiang Mai.

They have increased the price which was understandable BUT the quantity of food is also reduced a lot. Although the flavor is still good, but for the restaurant to reduce the quantity of food while also increasing the price, it feels kinda too much.

For example, this time we ordered the Beef Pho and Vermicelli dish, there were only 2 pieces of beef in Pho and just about half of the original quantity of pork in the...

I’ve been to the original Thia Go location in Da Nang, and while it didn’t stand out much there due to the abundance of local Vietnamese spots, here it’s a top contender. There aren’t many Vietnamese restaurants in the area, so this one really fills the gap. Prices are a bit high compared to typical Thai local spots, but the food is solid—especially if you’re craving authentic Vietnamese flavors. I got the Banh Xeo mixed and the Pho set—both were delicious, and I’d definitely come back. Plus, it’s located in a nice plaza full of great...

I have been craving Thai food so when I saw this shop I had to try it! The service was very good. I had the egg coffee and it was alright. I think I am comparing it to some coffee I had in Vietnam but for Thailand egg coffee it was good, just not as thick. I also had the pork spring rolls which came with amazing peanut sauce. Better than the sauces in Vietnam (in my opinion)! Last, I had the beef medium rare pho. The broth had so much flavor, I was impressed! If you are very hungry I recommend both for yourself as the pho portion was...
