Tub Tim Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

New restaurant in town, classy, friendly and great food. Tub Tim is just starting out, definitely on the right track. Owners and staff have gone out of their way to make us welcome. We have been there 3 times on our one month stay. We discovered them half way through our stay. Nancy(I gave her an English name) is as polite and courteous as they get. 1st visit we stopped for wine because we had a 45 minute wait at a place around the corner. Wish we stayed. 2nd visit we stopped for a romantic dinner and after dinner the owners and wait staff became friends. What a nice way to top off a good meal. 3rd visit, we had family coming into town and decided this was the place to go. Well needless to say. Food was awesome, owners awesome and waitress(Nancy) Super awesome.

Anytime I come to town we will come here.

I came to this restaurant by accident which made me very happy it happened. My partner and I came on the day that the restaurant has a buy 1 get 1 free cocktail. I believe the promotion is from 5-9 pm but I'm not sure if it's an every day thing or not. The food is more of Chinese fusion with Thai. We ordered shrimp dimsum with sweet and sour sauce, fish belly soup, and prawn noodles and all of them were AMAZING. Totally beyond expected! The shrimp dimsum was the best one from what we ordered. Will totally come...

Good food, fine service, but the music selection is insultingly bad. Two stars off… why must I be forced to suffer through an entire meal of douchey, mind-numbingly awful modern non-black fake poser R&B pop like Gloria Tells, Alexandra Corral, and Sionya? Come on. These terrible artists don’t deserve to be heard anywhere outside their faddish California cliques.
