Welladee Wellness Chiang Mai — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

Booked for my family ( mum, sister & me) a connecting room. It was a family suite, with a living room and master bedroom with a queen bed + another room with 2 single beds.

Came equipped with a mini kitchen, laundry machine, big fridge and all the cutlery too! Was really impressed with the amenities provided 👌🏻Room was impeccably clean & water pressure + heater was working well.

The living room was perfect for relaxing after a long day out or eating snacks that we bought from the day’s trip.

The hotel pool was clean and decent sized, with a steam room, small gym ( treadmills + some free weights).

I went for a private Pilates class in the hotel’s wellness facility & the instructor guided me along in English quite smoothly 🥰

Everything in this hotel was perfect, zen garden with a beautiful Koi pond + a very instagram worthy wooden spiral staircase in the middle! 👀✨

The only thing I would gripe about perhaps is the location is a just a little far from the old city where the hubbub is for you to visit the markets & bars! But nothing a quick 100 baht grab ride in can’t fix 🫶🏻 the cab drivers are familiar with the hotel’s location ☺️

Also breakfast is not provided 🙃 and has to be paid separately at 400baht per person which is a little pricey compared to the other hotels in Thailand. It’s a fixed set as well which you have to select from :( It’s a huge breakfast with mains, salad, cut fruit, hot coffee/tea, glass of milk , orange juice & small serving of yoghurt.

You’re better off ordering ala carte from their Welladee Cafe, their food range is bigger + their coffee is really good ♥️Highly recommend their NZ beef krapow, I miss it already 🥲

We enjoyed our stay at Welladee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We asked the receptionist to help arrange airport transfer and book a van with driver everyday, and it all went very well and we are satisfied with the whole trip. The room and facilities are just like shown on the photos.

The beddings are clean but you can notice the traces/signs of use. We used our own bed sheet on first night because we have a 2 year old and baby’s noise bled during sleep. They helped us clean our own bed sheet and clean up the blood on their own pillow cases without extra charge.

The breakfast at cafe has limited default options for sets but have menu for al carte.

There is not much around the hotel but it’s not so inconvenient. We go around in our rented van and the driving distance is ok.
