Ake Ocha Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Went here to have dinner. As a tourist who likes the non touristy places this is definitely a good choice. Food is good, watch out for the bigger portions as they are “to share”, however they when you are big eater you should be able to finish it. Service was strange, we could not pour our own drinks, this had to be done by one of the service people. The service people were not so nice, I had a feeling one of the 3 was allergic to smiling and the other two were very shy, so take the “good service” with a grain of salt. Also - so schlecht hab ich jetzt in Thailand noch NIE gegessen ! Eine kulinarische Katastrophe! Wir hatten Schweinefleisch in Sojasoße, Schweinefleisch in Bratensoße und Ente in Sojasoße. Alles war total geschmacklos, fade und zu allem Unglück noch völlig übergart, steinhart und staubtrocken. Alles war so zäh dass wir über die Hälfte stehen ließen. (600 Baht verschwendet) Weder die Ente noch das Schweinefleisch ließ sich ohne Gefahr für die Zähne kauen...einfach grauenhaft! Für 3 Personen gabs ein Minischüssel Reis! Bei der Ente waren frittierte Reisnudeln dabei. Die waren als einziges genießbar!😁 Das Restaurant ist rießig und total ungemütlich. Bedienungen sind schlecht ausgebildet und unfreundlich bis arrogant. Das Essen kommt hintereinander und nicht zusammen. Wir waren zu dritt. Der erste war schon längst fertig als der zweite sein Essen bekam. Und das Lokal war zu dem Zeitpunkt leer! Also besser einen großen Bogen um diese Touristenkneipe machen.

I've never eaten so worst in Thailand! A culinary disaster! We had pork in soy sauce, pork in gravy and duck in soy sauce. Everything totally tasteless, bland and completely overcooked, hard and dry. Everything was so worst that we left over half of our meals. (600 baht wasted) Neither the duck nor the pork could be chewed without harming the teeth ... horrible! There was a mini bowl of rice for 3 people. With the duck there were fried rice noodles. They were the only good dish!😁 The restaurant is huge and totally uncomfortable. Staff is not good drained and rude to arrogant.to the guests. The food comes one after the other and not together. We were three of us. The first was already finished with food when the second got his meal. And the restaurant was empty at the time! To this tourist restaurant you...

Came here as part of a group tour. Very spacious restaurant and even a kids play area outside as well. There is a bar, and a coffee station? Serving seafood, dinner varieties and more. Kind of an all in one spot for the family. For dinner we had the dinner set which I can't quit extrapolate to your a la carte options if you are here just for dinner. Chicken overall is dry but other choices such as their tofu, soup and shrimp...
