OSHINEI Chiang Rai — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

The first time I was here, it was a really good experience. Quality was good and the service was fast. But each time I've gone after, I've continually been disappointed. The food quality is just not good. The beef sashimi was so tough. The tuna was not fresh. But the worst thing is the time it takes for food to come out. Our one bowl of miso soup took 45 minutes to come out. A bottle of water takes 5 minutes. Every time I look over at the ice cream machine, 4 employees are huddled around it. There's a timer on the app telling me how much time I have. Our second batch of food came out with maybe 15 min remaining. It's a good thing we ordered only a few items so we were able to finish in time. We had ordered more, we would have had to rush eating everything. The concept was marvelous. The system, the staff, the ambience.. the downside was the food. It didn’t live up to expectation at all. It wasn’t the choice that wasn’t enough, but merely the taste of everything was extremely sugary and high in fats. I’d definitely suggest the chefs to improve their recipe for the sushi.
