JINLU RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Definitely one of the better restaurants now in Chiang Rai. Building is beautiful, well built and air-conditioned. There are plenty of parking spaces. We had five dishes and all were delicious, not oily and freshly prepared with herbs and spices. Service was good; but the three female waitresses didn't smile or seem happy or motivated. They serve beer and whiskey but no wine (only Spy). Cork charge is 100 Baht. Our only disappointment was the fish: they show TopTim, Bpla Nin and Sea Bass in their menu, and Gobi fish. When we were they said they only had Gobi fish. We didn't want to try Gobi. Too bad because many of the fish dishes were steamed and not fried which would have been healthier nice for a change. New Cantonese/Shanghai /Hong Kong Chinese style restaurant, slightly adapted to local Thai tastes. Plenty of inside parking, nice restaurant. I ordered the soup dumplings, which were great. The gyoza were okay and the stir fried chicken and cashews was delicious. There are several green veggie dishes to try, too. Nice experience will be back...

ภัตตาคารจินลู่ (ร้านเกี๊ยวเซี่ยงไฮ้เชียงแสน มาเปิดในตัวเมืองเชียงราย) อยู่เยื้องกับ 7-11 เส้นจากหน้าพ่อขุนฯ ตรงมาสนามกีฬาเชียงราย ประมาณสองร้อยเมตร

เห็น 7-11 มองขวาค่ะ มีป้ายภัตตาคารจินลู่อยู่ขวามือ ทางเข้ามีสองประตู ประตูเล็กๆรั้วเหล็ก เหมือนเข้าบ้านคน ประตูนี้เข้าที่จอดรถ ด้านในจอดได้หลายคัน

ถ้าเลยไป ติดรั้วเป็นทางเข้าที่มีป้ายชื่อภัตตาคาร เข้าตรงนี้ก็ได้แล้วเลี้ยวขึ้นที่จอดรถ แต่ทางเหมาะกับรถวงเลี้ยวแคบค่ะ ถ้ารถใหญ่อาจถอยหลายขยึกหน่อย

ดูข้างนอกเป็นอาคารเรียบๆ เหมือนไม่มีอะไร แต่ข้างในจัดโต๊ะจีนแบบโต๊ะกลมหมุนนั่งได้แปดคนสี่โต๊ะ โต๊ะเล็กนั่งสี่ถึงห้าคนอีกประมาณสีห้าโต๊ะ และมีส่วนห้องแยกด้านใน

ไก่อบน้ำแดงเป็นแบบยูนนาน ไม่ใช่น้ำแดงแบบที่คุ้นเคย รสเผ็ดนำ เขาใช้ไก่บ้านเนื้อหนึบค่ะ

สั่งอาหารนอกเมนูหัวปลาต้มเผือก เขาก็ทำให้ รสชาติกลางๆ
