An absolutely fantastic experience! I recently visited Simply Northern Thai and was completely impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm hospitality of the owners, who truly make you feel like part of their family. You can immediately tell how much love and passion they put into their restaurant – both in the food and the decor.
The Northern Thai dishes were a true delight! Everything was fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. I was especially impressed by the traditional fresh herbs used in the dishes. It felt like a real culinary journey to Northern Thailand!
The unique, lovingly designed interior of the restaurant complements the overall experience perfectly – a wonderful blend of authentic Thai elements and a warm, inviting atmosphere. You immediately feel at home and can truly enjoy the experience.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic Northern Thai cuisine and unforgettable hospitality. A true gem! I will definitely be coming back! Many...
Read moreNot exaggerating when I say that the fish wrapped in banana leaf might be one of the greatest things I’ve ever eaten in my life! 😍 Slightly tangy, salty, earthy, spicy - all the magic was there. The pork larb salad that is one of their specialties is exceptional, too! Nice mix of spices and textures (crunchy fried pork skin bits mixed in, a lot of delicious, slightly sweet shallot flavor balanced by salty/meaty/other spices - really incredible and I’m not typically that into pork dishes). Not depicted but not to be forgotten, I got the spicy chicken and banana blossom soup, which has nice undertones of banana blossom flavor and that lovely spicy tanginess found in northern Thai soups. Soup and larb are big enough to share for 2-3 people.
The warm hospitality, beautiful garden atmosphere and highly entertaining cat just completed the whole experience. Bring your own alcoholic drinks if that is your preference!
I will be back....

We ordered 3 dishes and the taste of each was too dull, and nothing like what we are used to after traveling through Thailand for quite a while. Since all other guests were Farang (western people) it appears that the restaurant has adjusted their cooking style to appease western taste buds. We think this place might be good for tourists that don't do well with the pronounced flavours of Thai food, and appreciate 'Thailand light' food. For us it was just too bland compared to the many other northern Thai restaurants that we tried...
