One of our best dining experiences anywhere. This roadside restaurant area epitomises why we like to travel through the countryside and taste local fare. Four adults, four different meals, each person stated that their meal was simple, and sublime. The cook could not prepare four meals at once, but with the help of the younger lady [her daughter?], drinks came to while away the time. And who would not wish to check out the view. Confluence of rivers at the boundaries of three different counties. We wanted to spend more time here, but alas our return to Chiang Rai was approaching. Always support local business...

Nice place to eat! We reached about 9 and managed to get the last order in. Food was quite good and reasonably priced! Tried some local northern thai food. The view would be good in the morning i think but it was dark when we were here. The view of Myanmar was quite hard to see as it's pitch black but Laos was quitr obvious, being so brightly lit....
