Silver Moon Rooftop — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and we enjoyed our room, the spa, the breakfast restaurant and the Blue Marble Steak restaurant. Well, until we visited this rooftop bar on the very last day of our stay. The 2 male waiters had a bad attitude, one displayed unpleasant and impatient reaction when we asked about the happy hour promotion when we just finished our first drink of the night and it was literally 2 minutes after the cut-off time. It was fine to not honor the drink 2 minutes after the cut-off time but the waiter should not have showed the altitude under any circumstances to customers. My partner and I are always respectful, and I was in the restaurant for over 10 years therefore I know how to behave as a customer and I also can spot a bad behaving waiter…

Later, the 2nd waiter showed us the attitude that he assumes he knows everything and started to argue with my partner and refusing our Accor gold membership discount for our bill. His logic was that he had only seen/accepted the Accor platinum membership card therefore he claimed that our Accord gold membership card was not accepted. And he even said that we should pay for the membership upgrade that would allow us the discount. The waiter just did not believe us that our Accor gold card is good for the rooftop bar even after using it at the spa and the steak restaurant in the hotel, and it took few minutes of arguing and finally my partner had to raise her voice and ask the waiter to check with management. Well, you guessed, the waiter came back saying that our gold card is indeed accepted at the rooftop bar.

The food is just as bad as the service we received. We ordered couple dishes and both of them were pre-made and reheated. The mussels with white wine sauce were dry, rubbery and lack of white wine sauce, and I knew it was pre-made and probably reheated in a microwave. We had couple fried dishes and I could tell the oil was much overdue for an oil change, plus they were...

One star would be too much. Yet the sea view was nice, thanks to the sea.

The place was ok, could be better though.

The cocktails were strange like something missing.

The service was extremely slow. The food was unpardonable bad, taste, portion, with pricy hotel rate. Such a shame.

You have to order a bottle of wine or spend more money or be with a big group to get the comfortable decent sofa spot.

Today I went to Silvermoon rooftop bar @novotel.sriracha , 25th floor 🍹🌴 You must reserve a table. If you walk in, there may not be tables available.

they have Live music every Friday and Saturday at 7pm. The atmosphere is very romantic and has a nice cool breeze.
