Update October 2023 Still a great experience, they have hired some more chefs so the menu has been improved, a definite Italian influence on the new dishes so I tried the classic bruschetta followed by the fettuccine. No complaints from me each dish was packed with flavours. My family ordered Thai food which was well received by all, even the house wine is good quality. A very friendly owner and staff made it a really enjoyable evening.
Behind the restaurant they have this serene mini resort with a beautiful pool. Several apartments and houses for rent, great place to stay for a weekend or longer, peaceful and quiet with all the amenities you would expect. Terracotta is a hidden gem located in Nong Prue under the flyover for the new highway. This enchanting restaurant captivates all the senses with its warm ambiance, delectable cuisine, and the genuine care exuded by the family owners. The restaurant's tasteful décor, adorned with elegant terracotta accents, creates an inviting and intimate atmosphere. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a memorable family gathering, Terracotta's charming setting is sure to leave a lasting impression.
The staff at Terracotta are incredibly friendly, making every visit a pleasurable one. From the moment we stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The team's attentiveness and willingness to accommodate special requests further enhanced my dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations showcased their dedication to ensuring guests feel welcome and well-cared for.
The menu at Terracotta offers a delightful fusion of Thai and European cuisine, catering to a variety of palates. I opted for Vegetable soup and Bruschetta for starters, and I wasn’t disappointed! For my main I ordered chicken breast and garlic rice that I had seen on their Facebook page, however, it wasn’t in their menu but when asking about it, they were more than happy to prepare it for me. All the dishes we ordered were very well presented as you will see in the photos.
Whether you're a fan of Thai cuisine or European delicacies, Terracotta is a must-visit destination. With its family-owned charm, peaceful surroundings, amiable staff, and outstanding menu, it has secured its place as one of my favorite restaurants in...
Read moreThis restaurant has recently reopened and it's a lovely place for lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and we were greeted at the entrance by the owner. The menu is limited at the moment, but the owner is looking at adding more options, including steak dishes and a choice of alcohol. Ordered the cheese lava burger and my friend had the fish and chips. The food was delicious and well presented. We visited during the day time, but the owner was telling me that in the evening, the garden is lit up, with soft music playing. This will help with the atmosphere, as it does need soft background music in the restaurant. The staff were attentive and polite. It is obvious that the restaurant has recently reopened, but has a lot of potential, it's a lovely place for a nice relaxing lunch or dinner with...
Read moreThe place looks great but they don't speak English, couldn't answer questions about the menu and then the food was really poor quality. Complimentary bread was old and stale. oil and balsamic tasted bland and I don't know if it was even olive oil. Pizza looked nothing like the menu and the dough was not fresh as expected, but flat and tasteless. Better options for...
