The Shamrock Irish Sports bar — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

★★★★☆ – Great Spot, Just a Small Hiccup

The Sports Bar is a fantastic place with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The effort put into transforming those Bang Saray shophouses into a proper restaurant really shows. However, of all things, I was served stale bread—a small but surprising oversight. That said, I believe this was just a one-off mistake, likely due to a lack of training, as the Thai staff probably don’t often deal with toast or recognize when bread is past its prime.

I’ll definitely be back, and I leave this review not to discourage anyone from visiting but in the hope that the right person sees it and makes a small improvement to an otherwise excellent...

I had the t-bone steak today. It was so tough I could hardly cut it with a steak knife and some of it I couldn't chew, so at least half of it went back to the kitchen. Second time I have been disappointed with food quality, last was time was when the wife's cutlet wasn't cooked, and the staff just looked at it, shrugged their shoulder, and never offered a new one, or even to cooked it some more. That said i had some nice pasta...

This is a really nice bar and restaurant. We come for the western food. On occasion we treat ourselves to the Sunday roast, which is really nice, or the steak pie and mash. The pie is fantastic, fully filled, unlike the ones we used to get in the UK, gravy is super tasty too. We haven't tried the Thai food, but it looks good.
