Albricias — Restaurant in Chong Nonsi Subdistrict

Fusion spanish-japanese cuisine is served at Albricias, with dishes like soft shell crab paella, unagi (eel) paella and hamachi (yellowtail) ceviche with wasabi, yuzu and guacamole purée. Some dishes were completely covered in sauce, perhaps overpowering the taste of the meat itself. But the main reason for 3 stars is the amount of time it took for hot food to be served (it took over an hour for our pork ribs, pork belly and a simple steak with unseasoned, bland padron peppers to come out of the kitchen). The same was for the churros, which the serving staff actually had to recommend us pre-order dessert as it “would take a long time to prepare”. Seems like there’s a problem in the hot section of the kitchen, and this restaurant was in a hotel (Chatrium at Naradhiwas soi 24), so we were expecting food to be of a certain standard. Very disappointing indeed. However, points go to the creativity behind menu items. Execution, however, needs tweaking.

Mediterranean buffet Great set up. Really tasty looking dishes. Staff tries hard. Friendly service. Children will find pizza and pasta, would be nice to also have e.g. Burgers or chicken nuggets and fries. Great fun at the dessert buffet with ice cream and different toppings. Would be nice if ice cream was labeled so that you can identify the different flavors. Unfortunately most of the warm dishes were cold. We spent 2hrs and recognized any guest coming late for the buffet would only have left overs - very limited replenishment. Cakes did not have any labels so we did not know what to expect. We went for the free flow soft drinks (soda, Sprite, Pepsi, Fanta and water - no juices) and staff made sure we never ran out. Live music during some parts of the evening. Okay price value. Just wow! The explotion of flavors in this beautiful Spanish restaurant! We just love everything here, this is one of the place that you do not need to add salt or pepper to any of your dish!

Price - high range but you can use eatigo for some discounts! (Around 1500 - 2000 THB per person in full price)

Quality &flavor - Tops!! When we see the menu we just wanna order everything and the flavors are all there as we expected
