The view alone at The Cradle Restaurant is worth a visit — a stunning panorama of the sea stretches out before you as you relax at the restaurant. The setting is cozy enough, with an easygoing atmosphere that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment.

However, my experience with the service was mixed. One waiter was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, instantly making us feel at ease. On the other hand, another staff member seemed rather unthoughtful. We had just arrived, yet he chose to clean other tables while we were still enjoying our beverages. It left a sour first impression — a small but noticeable breach of etiquette that felt a bit rude.

On a brighter note, I ordered an iced latte and requested it super sweet. They smartly served it with a small cup of syrup on the side, allowing me to adjust the sweetness to my liking — a thoughtful touch I really appreciated.

Overall, while the setting and part of the service were wonderful, a little more attentiveness from the entire team would have made the experience...

Vegan menu!! Ask for it when you sit!! Great plentiful options from vegan pad Thai to vegan tom yum, vegan tom kha, vegan pineapple fried rice, vegan laab hed and so much more! If you are parking, there is a parking attendant right outside on the street who will direct you. Front desk is the area to the left after you walk up the few steps to the entrance. They can point you to the restaurant, which says The Cradle on the outside of the building, you can see it just straight ahead of the front desk if you look forward and scan the resort. You'll need to walk down from the front desk area to the ground path and then up the steps to get to the restaurant. Beautiful view of the ocean, attentive service with staff that can speak English and a pool that I imagine you can swim in if you'd like since there are pool towels to the side and separate restrooms for folks to use. For vegan protein smoothies, you can ask them to make it vegan and they will even bring out the tub for you to inspect ingredients if you'd like. Wonderful vegan...

We dined at the Cradle Restaurant during our stay at Ayara Kamala. The restaurant has a quaint and romantic atmosphere.

We chose to have Thai food for dinner. The appetizer mixed platter was beautifully presented. The crispiness remained throughout the whole meal. The roasted duck in the curry was soft, juicy and tender. The tom yum soup was clean and the banana pancakes were a sweet way to end the meal.

During our stay, we also had the pleasure of eating their breakfast and in-room dining. All of which were just as perfect...
