My partner and I visited Green Heart Garden and loved the food and location so much that we decided to return 2 days later with a larger group of family.
This place is family-run, and we were able to meet the friendly owner and her mother (who’s the chef) during our second visit there :)
We loved the view, the ambience (nice chill music), very hygienic surroundings, and the fresh and delicious local food! It is pet-friendly, has sufficient fans/breeze, and the place made the kids we travelled with very comfortable (aged 3-12).
It was hard to find a place in Phuket that met our expectations of having the above requirements, and to be able to fit a big family of 14 people. Not only did they promptly took our reservation, they rearranged the tables so nicely for us, and made sure all our plates and utensils were wrapped in cling wrap to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
The local food was so so so delicious, and our favourites were definitely the red curry fish, the deep fried mushrooms (a must eat!!!)), and green curry.
When we were there on the weekday and weekend, there were also many locals. :)
They sell many community-made items there, and have areas where they grow herbs, plants, and rear chickens too.
We will definitely be back when we return to Phuket in the future!

Good presentation of food, but some things should probably not been on the menu. Pop chicken, is not Pop. It's basically just mini nuggets.
Drip coffee was a DIY kit with espresso beans and a defect grinder. They said upfront that drip is slow. Which is how drip coffee is. But they never said it's SLOW because of defect grinder.
We gave up and lost interest in the coffee and explained that it's wrong beans and grinder not properly working. Man got angry and switched to Thai and complained to my Thai friend. They never apologised and never took the coffee back. We got billed for it, even when it was impossible to make. Sum up... Nice place for the view, but stick to basic drinks and fruits.
Sidenote: I've been importing beans for drip coffee from Japan hand have been making hand drip coffee for over 10 years using products as kalita, hario, Origami,...
Read moreThe food and atmosphere was amazing, and the service was great too. We had the steamed sea bass with lemon and rice, papaya salad, green banana curry and mango sticky rice, loved it all so much! I’m a big foodie from Australia and love eating organic high quality, no seed oils, non tox cookware and this restaurant had it all including the energy going into the food. The only thing I would change is the takeaway options, we got the leftovers take away in a plastic bag which is sad because plastic ends up in the sea and microplastics are now ending up in our food so I would love to see some sort of traditional biodegradable takeaway and next time I’ll bring my own glass container.
Otherwise thankyou this was a great experience we...
