Mr. Stefano, head chef @ Portofino and Le Meridian’s Latest Recipe is not just a chef, he is an artist! It was a pleasure being served by him. They had the finest italian I have eaten in phuket. Stefano came up with a pasta dish outside of his regular menu, something he just tossed up impromptu to make sure that I, as a vegan enjoy his food :) It was a classic verdure pasta in tomato sauce prepared to perfection.Along with my main dish I ordered their bruschetta which I ended up eating everyday till my stay at Le.

Menu is properly designed as genuine Italian with no signs of rookie mistakes. The food was good. The servers are general resort staff and do not really know fine dining etiquette. You definitely get charged fine dining prices, and a big turn off that water has to be purchased as a small tiny bottle with an outragous price for two sips. The food tasted good and as close as genuine Italian...

Had a wonderful dinner at Portifino ! The food was amazingly tasty and the staff service was excellent, they were clearly well trained. The food was authentic and the chef came out to ask if the food was good at the end of the dinner. It was a 5-star experience. We had seafood soup, tuna tartar, Parma ham with mozzarella (must try), spaghetti, duck...
