Happy — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

This is an outdoor restaurant with decent food for a decent price. I ate here 3 times during my stay in Ko Lanta. I rate this restaurant 2 stars because of the awkward seating, staff and atmosphere. Firstly, the seating looks unique and appealing yet all of the chairs are uncomfortable and don't line up with the tables. The food is okay for the price but by the time it takes the staff to bring it out and the quality of the meal, you could have went next door to get better food. Also, while the smoothies are huge they are mainly watered down. Next when requesting to use the restroom, I was guided into a room with a toilet and a bucket of water next to it for flushing. While I know this is standard the room also had no toilet seat no sink no handwash no paper and no trash bin. Lastly the staff were friendly but it took multiple attempts to order food due to language barriers. It seems like there was only one staff member who knew what was going on in the restaurant and what dishes the restaurant carried. Ultimately, while I ate here three times out of convenience I would not recommend this place but I am wishing the business success...

Food and service were good. Had local Thai noodle dishes. The seafood isn't cheap, considering being right on the ocean. The shakes and smoothies can be better, too much ice but not enough fruits.

Update to the above review! To the owner responding below. It appears that you completely misunderstood my comment. I thought I left a pretty good review, I gave you a 4 ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ but your response is somehow aggressive, so I'll take a few stars back. Customer's feedback are good so that you can improve your service. Perhaps you shouldn't reply if you don't understand. Suggestion - Maybe train your staff to taste the smoothies before they serve it to guests is one way to ensure it's good. For the seafood, I didn't order it, but other places in Thailand that are not on the ocean are a lot cheaper than here where the ocean is right in front of you. I can't control your prices, but this is something for you to think about so that your seafood doesn't go to...

This little family restaurant was on our way so we said why not ?

We really enjoyed our time there, it's not the big place you could expect regarding all the beach restaurants and hotels nearby.

The service took a bit long (as expected since the restaurant was full and only 1 waiter) but ended up with a really nice surprise ! The massaman curry was just perfect, shrimp spring rolls succulent and the roti pancakes... I can't describe it without saying you can definitely feel the love they pour in their cooking. The waiter was all sorry and apologized for the wait but definitely was worth it

A little bonus point for the fact that they close at 22h00 but 1 person arrived and they accepted to serve him even though it was later, you won't leave with an...
