Everything is PERFECT: food, staff, view, and even cocktails. I always go to Sea Sand Soul every time I go to Lanta. I took my parents on vacation with me this time and they loved this place so much. My parents are both VERY specific about food but they always wanted to go back to eat at this place. In term of food, the quality of the ingredients was there, the flavor was there, the portion was generous. If you go to this place in a day around 3-4PM, you will see that there are few boats dropping by this place to deliver fresh seafood they got daily. You can play water in front of the restaurant as well. The water is very clear and calm even though it’s located quite near to a pier. The staff and cookers are friendly. They are professional as well. We could even customize the flavor of our dishes a bit. We told them what we would appreciate if they could make it as we wanted and they executed it perfectly👌🏼 As I mentioned, we are Thai and my parents are very specific in term of food and we went to this place to eat everyday on the island and every meal was beautiful. The price is acceptable for me. We ordered 3-4 dishes and 2-3 rice for 3 people every meal and the price was only THB 1,000-2,000(we ordered almost a kilo of big tiger prawn). There is no downfall at this place so far, even toilets are nice and tidy.

And one more thing, not only food and view and staff are amazing, but also the cocktail. I did not have a chance to try much but I am sure their cocktails are good too. The one cocktail that i tried was slightly light but it was better than many bars by the beaches.

Fresh seafood cannot go wrong, together with skillful cookers and friendly staff👌🏼 This place is a 10/10 🫶🏻 Thank you for making my parents satisfied...

MUST GO. Was not disappointed at all by this quaint little hole-in-the-wall. From a retro Elvis statue to the 80s pop music bumping in the restaurant, Sea Sand Soul is one of the most worth-it restaurants. The owner is incredibly friendly and goes through great lengths showing you around the venue and explaining the menu. The food is absolutely fantastic, and will have you wanting all 3 courses. The price is a bit heftier if you’re really living on the lower end (think 200 BHT for a simple dish), but we had no problem or reservations about splurging at the restaurant after we had the appetizers… Shrimp cake, to the whole fish, everything is amazing, just ask the owner and he’ll help you pick the perfect dish. A magnificent 10/10 for this spot!

Oh and did I mention, the view is amazing?...

We went for some fruit juice and smoothie in the daytime. Great view and relaxed vibe.

We decided to go back later that week to have dinner. But this turned out to be a real disappointment!!! Really don’t understand the good reviews…

Ordered Pad Thai with seafood. Didn’t have any flavor and the seafood was not fresh and dry/chewy. So I didn’t even eat it all…the worst I had… Also the recommended shrimps with paste was 200 bath for only 5 little shrimps and no vegetables at all. This is not a meal!

Taste and price not acceptable. Nothing Thai about this, only tourists food and prices. No value for your money!

Staff/manager is friendly, until you give your honest but friendly opinion about the food when asked, that’s a shame
