AMAZING! MUST GO! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is such a special place - truly a hidden gem. A light spot on a dark road. Nestled in a cute little garden with fairy lights, is an intimate restaurant. Reservation only. We were two of only 14 dinner guests that night. Three groups there total. Menu is set by the kitchen based on seasonal ingredients and catches of the day, so it's a lovely surprise! About 800 baht per person and totally worth it. Started with the house cocktail - Passion Maree (rum and passionfruit - yum!). The crab and water chestnut crab cakes wrapped in bean curd were AMAZING. The mangosteen and prawn salad was INSANE. The grilled fish in banana leaf was tasty and the fried Mexican kale was delicious. Squid with the ink was funky and sooo tender and delicious! Sagot to end was warm and lovely. Each dish is made and served with care. The owner speaks perfect English (he is Thai) and explained each dish and the origin of all the ingredients, most local or from a region in Thailand. There were mosquitoes but a fan, repellent and even an electric racket are provided! It was such a beautiful dining experience and I highly recommend it to anyone going through...

Absolutely delicious food centered around fresh seafood. Once you’ve let them know about any allergies/food preferences, you can fully trust that they will create a delectable menu for you. I’m still daydreaming about the shrimp & mangosteen salad. They also have a small but pleasant selection of wines at reasonable prices.
Chanin is a wonderful host - super welcoming and clearly passionate and knowledgeable about what you are being served.
This place is a breath of fresh air: such a welcome break from the endless offerings of Western smoothie bowls and touristy Thai food.
A great option for a celebratory dinner with a group of friends.

Read moreAbsolutely far and away the most amazing meal we had on the island and one of the best of my life. But more than that it's a real experience. Amongst all of pandering and quick and cheap westernised restaurants on Ko Phangan this is something different, you may pay a little more but it's worth every baht, if you enjoy seafood and real quality home style cooking you owe it to yourself to book a table while you're here. Channin and Panda are a lovely talented couple offering something extraordinary and intimate you won't find anywhere else, being welcomed into their beautiful home and served Panda's take on some delicious seasonal courses made entirely with organic local sourced ingredients. If you read this far, just do it, I promise you...
