The Seaside Cafe — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I love going to this cafe. They definitely seem to know their coffee, presenting similarly to higher end shops in Canada. However, the price is even low by island standards.

I love the cashew nut stir fry. I have to say, there are two cooks and there is a discernible difference between the results of each. One time was a little more spicy and less nuanced, the first time was incredible with touch of wok hei and nuance to the flavours.

Came here for breakfast and it was a challenge to ask about anything off-menu because there's only Burmese staff and they don't speak English. I ordered a flat white and first they just didn't understand it. Then after 15 minutes I ordered it again and they brought it iced. On the third time they succeeded tho 😂

Don't get me wrong - the food and coffe is AMAZING for the price. Really, I wasn't expecting it to be this good. It's just the experience...

We were 5 people. No one really enjoyed their food. Some of it was okey, but nothing great. We ordered Pad Thai vegetarian and explicitly said „no fish sauce“ and still the whole meal tasted like fish. The curry comes without rice which is not very nice since the consistency is mostly water and some big cubes of tofu (not possible to eat in one bite) and 2 pieces of carrot.
