The whole place is very aesthetic. The bungalow is spacious, clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Each balcony has a hammock and a cozy sitting area. In my opinion, this is the big advantage of the place - when you sit there, you almost don’t feel the hustle and bustle outside. The beach is very beautiful, and the sunsets are stunning. The staff (shoutout to splendid Sai) were wonderful and helped us with everything we needed. The coffee is excellent, the smoothies are amazing, and the food at the restaurant is great.
However, there were a few things we didn’t like and would have liked to know in advance: The resort is also a restaurant, with a constant stream of people coming in. As a result, it’s very busy and quite noisy during the day. There isn’t much privacy, since the access path to the restaurant runs between the bungalows and all the balconies of the bungallows are visible from it. In addition, our bungalow was right next to the motorbike parking lot, so every time people arrived it came with a lot of noise.
The restaurant itself is very good, but the prices are extremely high and breakfast is not included. Because the place is relatively isolated (unless you have a motorbike), you basically have no choice but to eat there, which makes the stay very expensive overall. It would have been nice if there was some sort of discount/benefit for resort guests, who spend entire days on site and almost only have the restaurant to dine in.
While the beach is very beautiful, there are no sunbeds or shaded areas to sit during the day. Almost all of the seating is inside the restaurant, which, as mentioned, is crowded, expensive, and has loud music playing all day long. The shoreline itself changes constantly due to the tides, so it’s not always possible to sit there either. The feeling is that for a large part of the day, you can’t just enjoy and relax by the sea. If this is important to you, this might not be the right place.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but (mainly because of the very high prices) I would recommend staying for a shorter period, like many people who come just for to dine and watch the sunset. We felt that we were limited to the bungalow, and that the restaurant takes over the whole property at the expense of the guests, who don’t really get...
Read moreWe had a fantastic stay here! A big thanks to Sai and To for their incredible patience and politeness. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even helping us secure accommodations after our booking was unexpectedly canceled. Their helpfulness and positive energy made all the difference.
The location is great. While Koh Phangan is known as a party island, we loved the more peaceful vibe of this spot. It’s situated on the outskirts of the city, offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere while still being relatively popular. During the day, it’s lively but never overcrowded, and there’s always a place to unwind, whether in the restaurant or on the beach. That said, a scooter is essential for getting around.
The bungalows are well-designed and practical. They’re not luxurious, but everything is of high quality. I especially appreciated the comfortable mattress, high-quality linens, and the large mirror, which felt like a nice touch. The cleaning was also excellent.
Overall, this place is perfect if you’re looking for a calm and relaxing stay while being just a 5-minute scooter ride away from the social life of the island....
Read moreOur favourite stay on Koh Phangan 🙏🏼 my partner and I booked 6 nights here. Worth getting the bungalow on the water if you can - the views are next level! But all the rooms look nice and are very close to the beach front. The staff are all super friendly, we felt so welcome, and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner at their cafe daily (coffee is so good and the pad thai was fantastic!). The beach has beautiful clear water although the tide is low most of the time in the day (we visited June) so if you want a dip (which is mainly sitting in the water waist height lol) it's best to do in the morning as it's cooler. A great spot for watching the sunset as well, and you can see Ang Thong National Park most days. We were sad to leave and hope to come...
