Jinda restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Samui

Typical Thai restaurant at the street. We ate here in February 2025 while staying on Koh Samui. I had a vegetarian dish and my partner had a curry. We liked both dishes although they were not as spicy or well seasoned as we were used to. our guess is that the chef aims for the western taste and adjusts the food accordingly. For sure I will come back again next time visiting Koh Samui.

We ate here three times during our 5 day stay. It was perfect and the food tasted amazing full of Thai spices and flavours. Seafood Tom yum comes particularly recommended as one of the best I've had my entire stay in Thailand. The owner/staff were so welcoming and so friendly I can only thank them for such wonderful food and service. Also worth noting it is extremely cheap and thus wonderful value for money.
