Are you joking me? Piece of plastic in fried rice, and only 4 shrimps when I paid for double portion... go somewhere else.

Update: after seeing this review the owner came out and said not to come here anymore in a very rude way.

Update 2: she came out again and said if I want to eat cheap go to street food place. I had street food yesterday, it had more shrimps, tastier fried rice and was much cheaper. BTW, fresh fruit shakes are also bad.

Update 3: I'm starting to suspect all those "positive" reviews are fake... just look at her "polite" comment to my review 🤣

Instead of accepting/admiting the mistake and carrying on she basically says whoever complains is a "climinal". We paid our bill in full (apart from the dish with a piece of plastic in it, which was sent back to kitchen after second bite) and even left some tips, so what was free?? Hahaha

It looks like your game is only to get good reviews, and whenever you make a mistake - blame the customers 🤦‍♂️

I travel a lot and I eat everywhere, from street food to posh restaurants, but I leave negative reviews only for places like this one 👎

A Real Local Gem Near the Airport

We found this place by chance while browsing Google reviews, looking for something local but still close to the airport — and we’re so glad we did.

The food here is incredibly homey and comforting. The woman who served us was also the chef and owner. She told us she normally works at a luxury villa, but during the off-season, she started this little restaurant out of her love for cooking. Every morning, she goes out to source fresh ingredients herself, and there’s no MSG — just real spices and honest, wholesome food.

I read a review mentioning their omelette dish, so we gave it a try — and it was absolutely amazing. Turns out, she actually created it herself!

If you’re in Koh Samui and looking for a truly local experience with food made from the heart, this place is well worth a stop.
