A Hidden Gem for a Serene and Romantic Dinner
If you’re seeking a tranquil spot for a romantic dinner or bite this place is an absolute must-visit.
Although I was initially hesitant, it turned out to be one of those rare hidden gems that truly exceeds expectations.
The ambiance is simply enchanting, quiet, intimate, and ideal for a romantic evening. It’s the kind of setting that allows you to relax, unwind, and enjoy a memorable meal without distractions.
As for the food? It’s nothing short of fantastic. The dishes are thoughtfully crafted, avoiding any over-the-top gimmicks, and focusing purely on flavor and quality. I couldn’t help but order the beef tacos twice. They were just that irresistible! The prawn tapas were another standout: fresh, tender, and packed with incredible flavor.
Admittedly, the menu card itself might not immediately grab your attention. However, don’t let that deter you, the taste and experience more than justify it, creating a truly delightful culinary adventure.
To complete the evening, the cocktails were expertly prepared, offering a perfect blend of sophistication and indulgence.
If you’re in the area and in search of a cozy, romantic escape with exceptional food and drinks, this hidden treasure should be at the top of your list. It’s an experience I’ll fondly remember and...
Read moreTasty food and drinks with outstanding views, attentive service, and beautiful live music - unfortunately truly priced 2x the amount it should be.
Super friendly service greeting us and sat us down in a super comfy couch thing right on the water and handed us some bug spray. The palm trees and ocean with a distant view of the big Buddha temple was a dream.
Many many many chairs and tables - we were the only ones there other than a table supporting the live duo and a girl on her phone smoking at the back likely staying at the hotel. Then a couple came in later as we were leaving.
This was the first place I was able to try local craft beer and it was outstanding - but 220 baht?… I didn’t order a second let’s just say. I think even a regular Singh was 180 for a small bottle. We shared a curry and some fries and the bill ended up being like 1700 baht. Really too bad as I’m sure it drives away people from experiencing this spot. Food tasted great though! 8/10 but I’ve had similar quality for les than half the amount and on the beach with views.
Then an acoustic duo came out and was the best I’ve heard in a long long time. Owners - Use them to promote your restaurant and hotel! And maybe throw in a few discounts on drinks to food to get people to sit down and listen to a song to get hooked and...
Read moreGlad to have come here to experience a lovely waterfront dinner at the cozy Tango Luxe resort at Plai Laem beach. I especially enjoyed the views of the bay with the sights of the Big Buddha, the distant vista of Koh Phangan and occasional sightings of planes' descent to the airport. The sundown vibes at this restaurant is truly sublime.
Staff are so attentive, helpful and very welcoming all the way through.
The location tucked a little bit further in the smaller streets - away from the main road, but isn't at all a hassle to find this place. Parking may be quite limited partly due to the place being quite well known and frequently visited.
Dinner was good with an array of international and local menu selections; however, the charges here I would describe as equivalent to 5-star resort prices (comparatively similar to big chain resorts on Koh Samui) - both the food dishes and the beverages. Worthy of note also are the additional 17% of government tax and service charge that will also incur atop the total bill.
An excellent place to unwind over a drink or two beachside I'd say - and absolutely best enjoyed at dusk in...
