I had high hopes for Farida restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. While the atmosphere was okay—nothing exceptional but passable—the food was far from acceptable.
I ordered the goat spicy soup, and let me be clear: I’m someone who loves spicy food. But this was beyond reasonable—it was like a fear factor challenge rather than a meal. The level of spice was overwhelming to the point that it made the dish inedible. Not only that, but the soup arrived warm, almost cold, which only made the experience worse. The amount of goat meat inside the soup was minimal, which made me question the value and even the integrity of the dish. Goat is a halal meat by nature, and I assume the restaurant adheres to halal practices, but frankly, the portion was so small and unsatisfying that it felt unfair.
We also tried the beef soup, and once again, the spice level was off the charts—surprisingly so, especially considering the menu didn’t indicate it was spicy at all. A little honesty in the menu would go a long way. For the roti, we ordered the crispy one, but it came out greasy and with a strong smell of oil, which was quite unpleasant.
Overall, I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. I was really hoping to enjoy a proper Thai meal, but unfortunately, this wasn’t it. I don’t usually write reviews like this, but I believe honest feedback is necessary. Hopefully, Farida restaurant takes this into consideration and makes improvements, especially in...

If you are someone who’s used to eating good beryani, this isn’t the ideal place unfortunately.
Overall, the restaurant and the staff were quite typical (local restaurant vibe) and kind; HOWEVER…
Goat beryani was too sweet and dry. Specific distinctive flavours in beryani or any certain flavours were not present; all I can remember from its taste is sweetness :(
Roti was too hard or did not have unique taste. I’d say that sadly(?) you can find better roti in Krabi - this one with 3.5 star level maybe!
Lemon drink tasted good as it’s...
