Maharat Bakery — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Overpriced for what it is. 65฿ for a tiny brownie, had to order 2, they tasted very good but not worth the money as they are literally candy sized. The chicken sandwich with bacon was 150฿ and it was quite light, not much substance to it, leaving me feeling still hungry. The place is not even air conditioned, it’s the typical Thai looking restaurant with plastic chairs without cushions. Not fancy at all. I wasn’t expecting to pay 300฿ in total for a sandwich, a cappuccino (which didn’t taste good), and 2 brownies. If you charge 65฿ for a brownie, do the favour to make it at least double the size. I seriously don’t understand why in Thailand most places have to charge incredibly high for a simple brownie, or a croissant with ham and cheese, or anything which is western food. It’s cheaper to get western food in western countries than in Thailand! This is seriously the only thing I cannot stand about Thailand. I love most things here, but their overpriced western food...

I was gifted some ciabbatta bread from the owners husband, I am.not saying this to be polite it's to give a 100% honest opinion today i turned 55 and memory fades rarely but I snaked on the bread alone no butter no filling no jam , just the bread , I truly cannot remember eating a more delicious bread , the taste was superb the ingredients used to make this must be high class , in my own country I would buy from the supermarket seeded batch loaf from a huge commercial bakery , the feeling I got from this independent bakery is that love goes into baking such delicious products , don't change a.thing it is so perfect...
