We started with the spring rolls, which were incredibly crispy and fresh, paired with a tangy, runny plum sauce that elevated the dish. The orange smoothie was a highlight—naturally sweet and tangy, with the perfect icy texture to cool down in the heat. The mussels cooked in garlic were impressively fresh, with a subtle yet flavorful garlic sauce that added a delicious touch. For the main, we tried the Hawaiian pizza, served on a thin, pita-like crust. It had generous toppings and flavors reminiscent of home, though a crispier base would have made it easier to eat by hand.

The atmosphere is what truly sets Joy’s Cafe apart. We visited on a Tuesday night, treated to a live band playing classic hits, creating an upbeat yet relaxed environment. The seating was creative and comfortable, and the staff—especially our waiter, Beyoncé—were attentive, friendly, and added a personal touch to the experience.

Prices are fair for the area, offering good value for the quality and portion sizes. While it’s not the spot for wild parties, it’s ideal for couples seeking a fun night out or travelers wanting a relaxing evening with friends.

I don’t even know where to begin.

The restaurant is located on the beach with stunning views and has live music; there are some low tables with huts and some tables on the beach itself.

The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks good English. The second day we asked if the food was washed in tap water and everything they cook is made from bottles distilled water, making all the food safe for Europeans to eat.

For food we had the crab fried rice, glass noodle salad with shrimp, shrimp cakes and papaya salad. Everything was amazing!! The fish was fresh and everything was seasoned perfectly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This is a true home from home. We stumbled across this place, loved it soo much we changed hotels to be closer! It's just amazing. Great atmosphere, beautiful scenery, we even had a day here when it rained all day and they treat us like family. I didn't feel well so they made me some special tea and didn't ask for any charge, we needed a ATM, so one of owners took me on her scooter to one, again no charge. The vibe is chill, when the tide is in the kids were just playing in the sea until sun set. The food.... It soo fresh, tasty, really good. English is very good here too. Thai massage available on the beach, i just don't have all the words if your thinking of going, go! You won't be disappointed. Great for couples, kids, old and young. Lovely...
