KoDam Kitchen Oceanview — Restaurant in Krabi Province

This place is a unicorn. It brings together spectacular scenery, beachside dining and extraordinary food. Lovely sea breezes in the evening after a hot day. You can done on the boardwalk but there is also plenty of undercover if you want. The sunset is glorious here. It's one of the prettiest places I've ever dined in Thailand.

It is sister restaurant to Kodam in Au Nang, where we dined a few days ago, where the food was outstanding.

The same applies here. This time we had the deep fried snapper in tamarind sauce, and added roti and a green mango salad. It was easily 10/10, no doubt.

The fish was crispy outside, moist inside just as it should be. The sauce was rich with tamarind with some Thai basil flavours.

The roti was perfect for soaking up all that beautiful tamarind sauce.

A great location with superb food. It's worth the trip out here, and KoDam in Au Nang will even provide transport for you.

If you want to eat at the best place in Thailand, listen to this... Ko Dam Restaurant in Krabi Village is the perfect place! After a month in Thailand this is definitely the best Thai meal there is! The place is new, the restaurant looks simple, but those who sit down discover the magic... The view is crazy, Riley Beach cliffs in front of your eyes, a bright white beach, and an amazing sea, on a shady and pleasant wooden deck.. The food is amazing and authentic, each dish is full of flavors and aromas, the service is extremely fast and the restaurant staff are amazing, Especially 'Light', an amazing guy who hosts the restaurant's guests with an exciting cordiality. That's not enough, the prices are ridiculous, a pampering meal for a family of 5 At 1400 baht!! And another service of the restaurant, after the meal they return you back to the hotel! In short... a must!! do not...

I’ve already posted a review on their prime chain location in the middle of bustling Ao Nang, but this brunch deserves a separate praise - nice laid back location with stunning views of the bay right at the sea front. It’s totally worth a little drive. We preferred this location to avoid the crowds - I understood it’s quite new, but it’s definitely a winner. With our 2 year old freely roaming its extensive grounds away from the road and fantastic food, this was our to go place. Extensive menu options, tasty food and consistent quality of food and service, we went there at least 8 times in a span of 3 weeks! Highly recommend! Staff is friendly and attentive, the establishment has a family run feel, but is very professional. And the food, the food is great! Well done people!
