We are local and live nearby, so it has been a convenient place for us to have meals and we, due to the convenience, were putting up with the dour faces and demeanor of the staff. Yesterday, however, they got our order wrong and served NOT what we ordered.....can happen, no big deal. Since it was the restaurants fault they should own it and rectify it. What they did instead, the order was for a grilled chicken dish by the way, was to serve an INCREDIBLY small portion (less than half the size of their regular portion for the SAME dish) which was totally over cooked and totally inedible.... We have little doubt that THIS was done out of pure spite.....because we dared to make them aware of THEIR mistake. I’m afraid I can’t understand the positive reviews of this place. The food is underwhelming at best - the fried rice was fine but won’t win any awards; the glass noodle salad was unfortunately quite unappetising.

But that could have been forgiven if the service had been good, but it wasn’t. Apart from one very sweet lady who took our initial order, every person we interacted with thereafter acted as if they were doing us a favour by serving us. The typical warmth and hospitality we have experienced elsewhere in Thailand was nowhere to be seen, and it left us wanting to leave as soon as we could.

Absolutely terrible service. We had to get up to get our own menus, the servers didn’t give us one, they didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks, the server didn’t greet us, no hello, no thank you, she didn’t even smile once, she acted like she just couldn’t be bothered serving us. my rice came with crustacean in that wasn’t listed on the menu, my vegetables tempura had squid in.
