Kredkaew Bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Been here as i expected a bar with sunset from Bayan Tree should be the best in town and surrounded areas… but wasn’t like expected… To reach the bar you need the golf car to drop you there, and till here is everything ok.. The cocktails are served in plastic glass, and fully understand because could be dangerous if get broken and someone can hurt itself… But why not using better quality plastic glasses? As from photo attached, the glass are old and scratched … I expected for cocktails the use of big ice cube as the temperature outside is hot and easy to melt fast when you use small cubes and get cocktails very much watering… The food: ordered pork ribs bbq and fried calamari.. i think probably the kitchen is far away from the bar, because the food came totally cold and even the plate was cold… very disappointing.. The cocktails prices are almost same to many bars in Bangkok. I order a glass of wine as after few minutes the cocktails start to get watering… white wine, but not chill enough.. i have to ask second glass more chilled.. Service overall ok, even do we have to raise hands many times to get attention.. Overall experiences, the food especially western food is below average of standard restaurants, could be improved the quality as you are a 5 star reputable brand. In the end the sunset...

This is a fantastic bar at the Banyan Tree Krabi resort on the lovely Tubkaek Beach overlooking the very picturesque Phang Nga Bay which enjoys stunning sunsets. The bar staff are great always very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our banter with Khem and Noom who are excellent mixologists, our cocktails were expertly crafted and always with large ice-cubes so they never got watery.

The bar carries a huge range of beverages to suit most tastes and there is good choice of food, which for us was always served promptly and hot . The prices do reflect the bars location in a five star hotel, but then again so does the service, which extends to all seating areas including the beach via pagers, so the staff are working very hard, but we found that we rarely had to wait for service.

There is a 'Happy Hour' between 3pm -5pm every day with a good selection of drinks included in the 'buy one get one free' offer during that period.

The bar is easily accessible from all areas of the hotel, buggies (golf carts) are available for your convenience to and from anywhere on the resort, but are definitely...

Very disappointed, I was not a guest at the resort, walked up to the restaurant, keep in mind this is out of season, very quiet, I was not treated as a customer and it was difficult to get info out of them, even after requesting room prices, none of which made any difference. Kredkaew Bar, will never see me again.
