Little Jamaica — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Great location on the beach but photos on the menu are NOTHING like what you actually get. I wanted the Fried Asparagus my first time there 3 nights ago, but they said they were out. I thought the 3 pieces of fish and chips looked good so I ordered it. There were 4 adults and a 4-yr-old in the group and food came out pretty randomly. My friend didn’t like his chicken pizza. The crust looked like a tortilla! The coconut water was good. My fish and chips had the fries but the fish was an un-skinned slice of fish with several bones. 🤢 NOTHING like the photo with 3 filets. It tasted ok. Last night we went and I requested ice tea - NO sugar. They called to me from the “podium” holding up a can that said LEMON asking if I wanted that. It was much smaller than my tea would’ve been but I like lemon. It had “Less Sugar” but yuck! I asked for water and after 1 sip of the can, they still charged for it. I ordered my food from the Thai side and requested the delicious-looking tempura fish filetS! I got another single, LOTS OF BONES, skin-on fish filet. The smoker there was making the table we were At uncomfortable so we moved. Fries were pretty good. The other friends were enjoying the rice dishes. Friendly guy but obviously does not understand enough English to provide...

Order for five. One gets food, then after waiting for a good while comes a pizza, that has nothing to do with the one we ordered. Problem was, as they said - these foods in the menu are just pictures from Photoshop, they have nothing to do with their food. After 30+ mins table that arrived and ordered after us had got their food. We then received the second food for our table. Where are the others, they did not know - finally they came up with a story of other tables ordering before us - well..how did two foods come in periods of isch 20min. Finally after an hour on total, food was not got and we left to another place, paying what had arrived, five drinks and two foods. Language skills and prioritising things was horrible. When giving order, it was interrupted if possible customer was seen or colleague had something to talk about. Havent had this kind of service during the whole trip - should...

Es war eine Riesenenttäuschung… Nie wieder!

Das Restaurant ist eines der wenigen in der Gegend, welches Frühstück anbietet. Wir waren froh, endlich eins gefunden zu haben.

Serviert wurden ein Instant Café, Omelette und Toast. Ein Frühstück Set kostete zu diesem Zeitpunkt 150 Baht, der Preis ist vollkommen okay. Tasse und Geschirr waren dreckig und nicht richtig richtig gespült. Der erste Anblick hat uns schon etwas ab geturnt. Das Omelette war okay, jedoch ein Instant Kaffee kann ich mir auch in meinem Apartment mit heißem Wasser auf schütten. Nachdem wir Unser viel zu helles Toast reklamiert haben dass es noch mal nach getoastet wird, kam dies erst nach 15 Minuten auf meine Aufforderung völlig vertrocknet und kalt zurück. Dann habe ich gesehen, nachdem ich die Butter geöffnet habe, dass diese völlig ranzig war, nachdem ich auch diese reklamiert habe, bekam ich neue Butter, welches ein Ablaufdatum älter als einem halben Jahr hatte. Auch die Marmelade war schon ein Monat abgelaufen. Mir ist es völlig schleierhaft, wie man noch nicht mal einen Mindeststandard einhalten kann. Wir haben dann alles stehen und liegen gelassen. Dennoch wurden uns die 300 Bath für zwei Personen in Rechnung gestellt, ohne jegliche Bemühungen, den Gast zufrieden zu stellen, geschweige denn einen Nachlass auf diese Mega Enttäuschung zu geben.
