The Beach House — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Sorry I have to give it one star, and just for the good position and nice view. The rest was disastrous. We had a lunch there and probably was the worst dining experience we had in Krabi. When we ordered, the waitress looked impatient, grumpy face and didn't respond to my question "how much is the French fries" despite the fact that I repeated a few times. She just stood there and left my question hanging, not even asking for help from another colleague who speaks better English. And we also found that the cutleries and plates had ants crawling all over so we had to asked for a change, the waitress did it with an unpleasant face.Then the food was horrendous. Beef was definitely not fresh, must had been frozen and we can tested the funny smell. Rice was hard. Food portion was small. The morning glory, fries and chicken with cashew nuts were fine. But overall, will not visit this...

Food: 2, fruit salad and fried rice with shrimp were ok. The grilled shrimp and t-bone steak were badly overcooked and very chewy. The fries were simply discusting. Overall very bad food. Unfortunately we didn't check the reviews before going there.

Service: 1, very bad and surprisingly unfriendly. No reaction or sorry whatsoever, when we addressed the bad food. Staff felt very unmotivated and unhappy.

Location: 4, good location with sea view

Price/Performance: 1, very much overpriced for the quality of the food.

1 is worst and 5 is best.

Had breakfast here. The eggs came out in about 25 mins, and I asked for potatoes with it and they brought me fried tomatoes instead. Then confused I asked where the fried potatoes and my garlic bread was. And he said he'll bring out the fried potatoes separately with the bread. So I waited for the bread so I could eat it with my eggs. Well I was surprised to see a plate of fried tomatoes come out. Told the guy not tomatoes, potatoes! I even showed it to him on the writing on the menu in the beginning. The server was extremely arrogant from the start. The bread came out 20 mins after the food. We ate and I told them to cancel their potatoes and we just left the place extremely disappointed. The view is nice but trust me not worth going thru...
