168 Hostel Airport & Hostel@Phuket — Restaurant in Mai Khao

Miss Pat the owner, together with her mum were very friendly. Miss Pat always ask if everything is alright whenever she saw me. The restaurant downstairs that she runs serve many delicious thai and some weatern cuisines that I personally like. I ate dinner at the restaurant for all of the nights during my 3 nights stay there. On my last night, her mum even went the extra mile in driving me to the self service dryer shop nearby to dry my clothes. Both Pat and her mum also went the extra mile in helping me to find/suggest car and bike rental from their neighbours which is some walking distance away. The room and toilet are clean and showed no sign of age despite the hostel has been already operating for 7 years. The hostel is also around 15 minutes walking distance from the Phuket International airport or 5 minutes bike ride away. It is also just less than 10 minutes bike ride from the nearby famous naiyang or mai khao beach that the plane fly pass...

The restaurant here is fantastic! My friend and I stopped by since we were early to the airport and I’m glad we did! The service was great and everything is made when ordered. We had Tom Yum and Chili paste rice both pork and my friend had Chicken Coconut soup and Tom Yum fried rice all were absolutely delicious and we also had a Thai Iced tea and Passion Fruit Smoothie. Lastly, there was connect four available so my friend and I played while we waited, so fun!

Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area, I’d even make a special trip to try again😋...

Absolutely Fabulous Experience!

Pat and her mom were absolutely fabulous! They went out of their way to help my mom find unique Thai groceries and balms, and even helped arrange taxis for us. Their prices are the best in all of Phuket, and the food at their restaurant is simply amazing. Pat works so hard alongside her mom, and they both deserve a huge round of applause for their incredible hospitality and warmth. They were so friendly and welcoming that it made our visit truly special. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Phuket....
