Burger King — Restaurant in Mai Khao

It seems Burger King is the bright side in this airport. I believe many people are not happy with prices and honestly it’s first time I see International restaurant increases prices so high like this because it is at airport but it is weird and I think there may be other reasons. This restaurant was very crowded and hardly to find a seat. The branch itself is small and I believe they are working to expand it. The way I saw it, staff were working hard to catch up with many orders. However, service still slow with such a crow. Also, people who choose to dine in they have to keep waiting and looking for any seat that gets available but in such case table still dirty and it takes forever that one of staff comes to wipe the table that why customer has to accept staying at unwiped table. These points they need to resolve in order to make a better service: Expand the restaurant if possible. Get extra hand to wipe tables...

DO NOT eat at this place. I got food poisoning from them.

As soon as they opened which was around 7:00AM I was the first to order food. I received my burger microwaved, from who knows how long ago. This was literally the worst disgusting burger that I have ever tasted in my life, I only took 1 bite and threw it away. The fries was cold. All I know is around 6 hours later while on the plane going home I started to feel nausea and a little bit of cramps. I arrived to my home country and around 6 hours after arriving I started to feel intense pain in my stomach. I got rushed to the emergency room and it was food poisoning with 4 types of bacteria found in my system. I know it’s not from anything I ate the previous day since my friends and I shared the same pizza, and ate the same food throughout the whole trip. They were fine with no issues. This was the only place I ate at that none of them ate at.

Rarely get food like this but after a great meal in Patong at Burger King decided to grab one more at the airport before we left. DO NOT GO HERE. They wanted to charge us for a burger fries and drink each. Not as a meal. Individually for each item. This totalled 950baht nearly $40 Aussie. We paid 600baht the night before in Patong. I understand airports are more expensive but that’s an outrageous difference. Nearly $40 Australian for 2 burger meals. After much disgust and talking to the girl behind the counter I got my refund for the chips and drinks and just had the burgers (we were starving and needed food whilst everywhere else had huge lines) ordered the whopper bacon and cheese which came with one bit of tomato, One tiny slice of pickle, One onion ring and one half of a slice of bacon.
