Caffè Del Museo — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Our plan was to come to a beautiful place, eat in a beautiful and delicious cafe, celebrate our holiday. As a result, I booked a table. When we arrived, there was only one table with the family and 6 waiters in the whole establishment. I ordered a pizza, as I saw they had a good oven for this, my wife took sea bass fish. We were off the road and really wanted to eat. When we sat down, they offered us water, which is a good tone, I thought. But I didn't get any water, so I ordered another drink. When the menu prices for pizza from 450 baht, meat steak from 800 baht. up to 6000baht, I was expecting a different service. As a result, 10 minutes later my beer and wine were brought to me, then WATER was brought - a compliment for which you will pay at the exit. After another 5 minutes, Sea bass fish was brought, this is a good time for fish to serve. I waited for a pizza for a total of 35 minutes in a cafe with one occupied table. And the most interesting thing is that they brought me another pizza, not the one I ordered. And I had to spend another 5 minutes explaining the problem. And now I had to wait another 20 minutes to eat my pizza. I think it's not acceptable to cook pizza for 35+ or 40 minutes.... And this is in an empty cafe! I would also like the food to be served together, it's very simple, believe me, I have a lot of experience in the restaurant business. The service is 2 out of 5. After all, the waiter threw the wrong pizza on my bill, and for the compliment of water that was brought after all the orders, you will pay 30 baht. And with a bonus from the institution, you will also pay + 17% for service to the entire bill) our evening was completely ruined. I don't mind paying $1 for plain water and $20 for pizza, and I agree to 17% of the service fees, but for this the Restaurant must meet this requirement!!! Me and my spouse arrived at 7pm and were told the restaurant was fully booked. Period. No tables for the rest of the evening. When we asked about the several currently empty tables, we were informed that we could make a reservation for 8pm..., and that the empty tables also had reservations for 8pm. We asked if they couldn't let us have one of the currently empty tables as they would just sit there empty for an hour anyway, but no, not possible... Rather confused, we made a reservation for 8pm and was promised a table on the veranda. Nice, even though their reservation system seems to work in mysterious ways.

Anyhow, we arrived again at 8pm and we did not get a veranda table, but was seated at a temporary table in a rather dark area, and we managed to place our order (we were later allowed to move to one of the regular tables, although not on the veranda). Drinks arrived pronto, but when no food had shown up by 9, we decided to ask. They informed us that our order had "gotten stuck" in their ordering system, but that they would serve us in 15 minutes. We asked them to serve our cold-cut starter asap and not together with the main course (as some Thai Italian restaurants sometimes do). Lo and behold, 15 minutes later our main course arrives ahead of the starter. We then asked them to cancel the starter, which they thankfully accepted without discussion.

Food: I ordered a steak medium but it was so rare I had to send part of it back for another round on the grill. Still rare when they served it again, but I didn't bother to send it back one more time. Even though the taste was nice, the meat was chewy. The grilled vegetables and the wine was good, and the surroundings are beautiful, which is the only reason why I am revising this review to 2 stars in retrospect (we stayed at the hotel and had a few very nice days but very complicated to order room service).

Pricing: This was the most expensive food bill...

I wish there was a zero star review button as a thai person and a person who loves to eat italian food. Im quite disappointed because they used frozen beef to serve my friend, and they cant even make a simple caramalized onion soup without making the msg noticeable. A simple resteraunt wouldnt use such tactics and woild at least know the basics of cooking a valuable and appetizing meal. I ordered a medium steak and they gave me a raw steak it was only charred on the outside while the inside was clearly red. I had to make them redo it twice. my advice for people who are interested in this resteraunt is to go just for the coffee and nothing else. I was quiet disapointed with this experience. Any person who disagrees and doesnt believe in my review could go out to try it for themselves but i wouldnt if i were you. Quite truly disappointed in this experience i would hope they would change the chef and change the way they prep their meals thank you . I truthfully recommend this resteraunt to just close down as i also found a piece of shrimp legs in my soup when i asked them they said it was a vegetable stem when it clearly wasnt. do we look stupid i think not this has been one of the worst resteraumt experiences ive ever had in my life DONT EAT HERE IT SUCKS AND...
