Kaiyang Nai Mueang Restaurant — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Superb food. Really recommended this if you are an English speaker but interested in trying the Isan specialities - as they have a long menu of the classics and with English translations. Staff are also really friendly and patient with my bad Thai.

The soms are all pungent with pla ra and properly spicy - so definitely try these. But perhaps our favourite dish was the fried fermented pork ribs, one of the standout dishes of our trip.

Prices are on a par with less attractive restaurants (most dishes around 100 baht - fish dishes are more and simple soms are less) - but some portions slightly smaller. But still very good value we think and means you can try...
