Keawwandish Khao Yai — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

The service was impeccable. It was drizzling when we reached and the service staff took the initiative to shelter us from the car park to the restaurant after seeing that we have so many children in tow. The manager was also very accomodating to our various meal request to make it more child friendly (example less spicy,, less oily and salty.) After observing that the downpour had put a spanner in our plans for the evening, he went beyond his duties and tried his best to plan for alternatives for us. It helps that he was also very fluent in English.

Food was served promptly, and were generally good. Special mention to the very tender and well marinated Five Spice Stewed Pork Knuckle. We were the only party in for dinner at that time .

Atmosphere was good too. Decoration was warm...

Keaw Wan also known as green curry. We are a group of friends looking for clear Tom Yam Soup around Khao Yai area and this restaurant was reccommended by our driver.

The ambience is extremely clean and they serve one of the best green curry that I have tried.. a lot better than Singapore ones (usually sweeter) while this will leave you with a good after taste that lingers around the taste bud.

The son of the owner also speaks good English and the owner is very friendly. They also own a cafe on the right side of the restaurant and caramel latte and the melon Ice cream taste awesome too (might be biased after savouring the great food)

In conclusion the dinner held at this restaurant makes my Khao Yai trip complete and I would recommend for you guys to drop by...

Stewed pork leg at 350 bhat and mixed green salad separate, I forget how much, maybe 150. Could have fed two - three people. Also a latte frappe 90 bhat. The owner and her son both speak English and the menu includes English names. The restaurant adjoins a coffee shop which is convenient and has minimal English menu board. There is shaded seating outside on three sides of the glassed-in a/c restaurant. 88F/31C, Nice breeze on the deck and a view to the east across grass and trees with nearby landscaping and an arbored swing. Good Wi-Fi in 5G. At 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, they are still no more than 20% full in a/c, and I am the only outdoor customer. Even 12:30 was not crowded. I quite enjoyed talking to the owner and...
