Food 3/5 Homemade sausages are great. BBQ pork ribs are okay. It doesn’t take long time to wait that’s impressive.
Service and Waitresses 1/5 At first, it wasn’t that bad only annoying. I feel like they’re sleepy. They were still polite and pointed us the table but there’s no smile on their faces nor no intentions on presenting the menu( they just give us short answers but don’t provide any more than we asked, just like yes, it’s homemade.) They might say something when serving a dish but silence. I would give them 3/5 if that fly doesn’t show up in the Thai tea glass. It’s almost finished when the fly was found(see the photo). We asked them to talk to the manager unfortunately they were not there. A supervisor came to us said sorry and tried explaining that their process was keep this iced tea cubes in the fridge immediately. It’s impossible to have a fly in the iced tea cubes. It probably fell in during we having meals.(I didn’t say anything then but she might notice that I’m still not feeling better) She continued that the restaurant has things like insect traps around the place. This case may occur sometimes but not often. She canceled the iced tea cube with milk from the bill and gave us 10% discount after she talked to the manager. She also said that the restaurant will take responsibility for any illness that caused by that glass. It’s reasonable but I feel like they didn’t try to solve this problem more like they’re okay to let this thing happens. It maybe me having too high expectations for this restaurant.
Cleanliness 1/5 I can’t find any insect around or inside the place, only in the glass. I wonder how does it come into the glass.
Overall 1/5 Nice security guard at the parking. Good view and...
Read moreBeen coming here for family Christmas dinner for the last few years and this year will be our last. We ordered the northern style Thai noodle -Kao Soi. This fish is being served with pot with fire. The fire was getting too strong after the dish got put on the table. We asked wait staff to put out fire. One waiter came with the tissue in one hand and a small dipping sauce bowl. He was trying to pick up the boiling pot with tissue. We had to tell him that this is not safe and we had to ask all people on the table to move away for safety. Despite telling him that, he still continued on with tissue. We were shocked on how the wait staff handled this.
We ordered 3 x pork chop steak. Waiter came to serve the dishes and put them just on the top of the table and asked us to pass along. These are large steak plates and it would be very awkward especially for our elderly parents to pass. We insisted for the waiter to serve to the person and his response was oh ok & it is not sth he usually does.
We asked for bigger bowl. Staff looked surprised. We saw them running around searching for bigger bowl and we got told 20 mins later that they don’t have one.
Overall, foods don’t taste very good. Some dishes are very salty and some are bland. Prices are over the top and more expensive than what we normally pay overseas. Services were appalling. Staff need...
Read moreThe restaurant is very beautiful the staff are very friendly and nice The steak was not so, for some thing that cost2500 per plate you would expect it to be at least decent, the steak were not cooked to the same level in one piece of meat. 1/3over cooked 1/3 medium rare 1/3 rare … how?? Were you putting in the middle between hot and cold zone? Well at least the rare part can just be fix by asking the staff (which they happily help with a friendly face) to bring it back to the kitchen and cook it a bit more But not only the cooked level of the meat that was the problem the beef itself is not even good its … well I’m just gonna leave it at that. And for the beef stew I like the taste and the style of the stew but the beef in it not so much the texture is just weird its like jelly not a beef. As for the sausage, I love it I’m really surprised by this usually i’m very picky about the sausage in most of the restaurant when I order five or nine sausage, I usually only like half of them and hate the other half. But in this restaurant, I love all the sausages surprisingly so if you come here, I highly recommend you to try the sausage and don’t bother order the steak at all. Another funny thing is even though the restaurant name is rip man we did ask the staff for the recommended menu, and the rip was not a...
