Stargio's italian Restaurant สตาร์จีโอ้ — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Very good pizza crust & sauce with a big fresh salad. The food was quite good. The service...not so much and all downhill from there. As another reviewer put it so succinctly...the service is ABYSMAL. Painfully SLOW...waitress constantly playing with phone...zero English. Served the salad without oil and vinegar and no black pepper mill. The pepper mill was sitting on an unoccupied table. Had to get up and distract her from her phone to ask. Then when finally delivered more than 5 minutes later, the not-olive oil was stale and the balsamic so old it had coagulated in the spout!

Also they wouldn't sell us a carafe (or even a glass) of red wine, despite us seeing red house wine in the beer & wine chiller by the bar. They just said "cannot" when pointed it out and asked. However when I inquired about a bottle of wine on display in the rack, which the nitwit waitress never suggested..they happily sold us a nice bottle of Chilean Cabernet for B850. Took a pass on the B1400 bottle...

I was here just before the covid closure and it was an amazing experience for me. I missed American Italian food and they made excellent steak, ribs and pizza. The Australian steak was cooked perfectly and we had a special Issan steak sauce to kick the flavor to the next level. The ribs were fantastic. The meat fell right off the bones, the sauce was flavorful and the vegetables were great too. the pizza is totally hand made except for the cheese! Crust was light and crunchy, sauce was Thai-sweet, and the pepperoni was delicious. The first impression was a sweet restaurant with lots of cute family photos. The reality of this restaurant was waiting for an hour for two pizzas and pasta when the restaurant had no other people in it. We opened up our pizza boxes to two very small pizzas. One of the pizzas was inedible as the dough was not cooked at all and was soggy and raw. The other pizza was edible but terrible, and we had to throw it out.

The first review I've ever written - simply because it was the worst meal we've had at a restaurant - not to mention the carbonara with sauce that was literally just water and the long wait and bad service.
