A Thai Treat with Value (If You Find the Right Deal)

I'd noticed this restaurant in Central World but never gave it a go. A recent Hungry Hub promotion finally gave my wife and I the chance to try their Seacon Square branch (right by Oh Ka Jhu). We opted for the THB 790 per person package.

Here's our sampled menu:

Tom Yum Goong: Rich, flavorful broth and 5 plump shrimp – yum!

Grilled Pork Ribs with Herbs: Sadly, the meat was a bit too rubbery for my liking. Presentation was top-notch, though.

Crispy Shrimp Chili Paste with Mixed Vegetables: Perfect if you love spice.

Golek Chicken: Loved the thick, slightly spicy sauce and the cute terracotta grill.

Deep Fried Crab Meat: Fresh & tasty.

Stir-fried Malindjo Leaves with Egg: Too salty for my taste, and the portion was small.

Stir Fried Water Morning Glory with Crispy Pork Rinds: Needed a bit more greens.

Keropok: This swapped in when our original choice wasn't up to par – kudos for honesty!

Creamy Omelet with Shrimp: Accidental order, but the taste was average.

Service-wise, everyone was friendly, but some training could help them shine. The space is small but stylish.

The food is tasty, but not quite my ideal Thai flavors. Without a deal, it'd be pricey. But with Hungry Hub, it makes for a good value meal.

Camin offers a selection of Southern Thai dishes. The food is flavorful, but not overly spicy, which is good for those who prefer milder tastes. Many of the dishes seem well-prepared, showing attention to detail.
