I recently had the pleasure of dining in Pattaya, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring! Located in a vibrant area, this Indian restaurant offers an inviting ambiance that combines colorful decor with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Upon entering, I was greeted by friendly staff who seated me promptly. The menu was extensive, featuring a range of traditional Indian dishes from various regions. It took me a while to decide, but I eventually settled on the Chicken Tikka Masala, accompanied by garlic naan and a side of basmati rice. For starters, I couldn’t resist ordering the Samosas.
The Samosas arrived first, perfectly golden and crispy, with a delightful spiced potato filling. They were served with a tangy tamarind chutney that complemented them beautifully. As for the mains, the Chicken Tikka Masala was a standout. The chicken was tender and succulent, bathed in a rich, creamy sauce that had just the right amount of spice to tingle the taste buds without overpowering them. The garlic naan was a perfect accompaniment, fluffy and aromatic, ideal for scooping up the flavorful sauce.
The portion sizes were generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied yet not overly stuffed. The service throughout my meal was excellent—prompt and attentive without being intrusive.
To wrap up my meal, I opted for a classic dessert, Gulab Jamun. These little fried dough balls soaked in syrup were the perfect sweet ending, warm and comforting.
Overall, my lunch at Spice of India was a delightful culinary journey. The food was authentic and well-prepared, the ambiance inviting, and the service top-notch. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Pattaya, I highly recommend this gem for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine. I can’t wait to return and explore more...

Read moreDo not eat here. From the minute we arrived at the floating market we were pushed by the manager/owner to come inside the restaurant. We didn’t, but I did feel like indian food, so after the market tour we decided to go. WORST MISTAKE. We got scammed and charged 450฿ for the lamb masala which literally had 3/4 tiny pieces of very chewy meat. Got also charged service fee which was not mentioned anywhere in the menu or at the entrance. I didn’t pay. SCAMMER OWNER. STAY AWAY. Charged 150฿ for a chicken soup that was literally an entree. RIDICULOUS. EVERYTHING WAS AN INSULT, LITERALLY.
I seriously don’t understand or comprehend all the great reviews, it’s what pushed us to come in. At this point, you cannot even trust googles 5 star...
