Appalling service. 4 people. 1 ordered steak, it came and was overcooked. No problem these things happen. 15 minutes later comes back out with new steak however fries/vegetables/sauce stone cold. Goes back in the kitchen, comes back and all ok but sauce still stone cold. Son was starving so just ate it. Ordered deserts, canât switch a strawberry ice cream on the white chocolate lava cake for a different flavor. Tried to understand why and no reason apart from thatâs what comes with it. BizarreâĶ Cancelled 3 of the deserts and kept one. Nothing came. Then they said 2 minutes. Itâs an iced desert and 10 minutes later one of the staff got the watermelon ice from the freezer (we are seeing what they are doing). We could only think this was being done on purpose as only 2 other tables in the entire place.
Entire time throughout this the staff were pretty rude and dismissive.
Then asked for the bill, asked for the service to be taken off (Iâm all for service but itâs for good service). From then on the staff were shaking their heads and staring at us with scowling looks. At this point I was pretty disgusted.
No manager in the place to speak to.
The service is appalling. The staff are in the wrong industry if they think what was provided was acceptable.
When we arrived we were the only table and throughout there was another 2 tables so thereâs no excuse that they were busy.
Have been to The Chocolate Factory many times over the years and can safely say tonight was my last. No accountability, no standards and the staff should feel ashamed to whoever...

The rigatoni was delicious! I just wish that there was more sausage so that there was a better ratio of sausage to pasta (there was the equivalent of maybe half a sausage in it). The pasta was definitely on the al dente side, but not too much, and the sauce is really what made it special.
The cashew chicken was pretty good, although I didn't realize it came with red peppers, and although I finished it, I like it better elsewhere, with different sauce.
You can really spend a lot of money here, as they have lots of high-end options, but we were also able to find reasonable options to eat as well.
And of course there are very many options for dessert.
My husband was particularly impressed with the 80% cacao hot chocolate, and the strawberry mousse.
On our way out, we enjoyed the garden area a bit, and we thought it it was a little bit strange that the security guard walked over and turned off the running water, even though it was only about 8:30 and they didn't close until 10:00. So that took away from the ambiance a little bit.
And I do always find it annoying when there is a service charge already included with the bill, which in this case with 10%. In my opinion, you should either reflect that in your prices, or leave a tip up to me. But to tack it on at the end as a mandatory upcharge (which they don't mention ahead of time) isn't good business practice in my opinion.
With these caveats in mind, we will still very...
Read moreIf you're a fan of indulgent sweets, the desserts here are absolutely worth the visitâwell-priced and brimming with rich flavors. While the entrÃĐes fall a bit short of expectations, letâs be honest: most patrons aren't here for the main courses; it's all about the chocolate. The service could use some improvement in attentiveness, though my meal arrived correct and at the right temperature.
The dessert offerings are the star of the show. The Roche Cake is a standout, perfectly satisfying those chocolate cravings while adding a delightful caramel twist. For those who adore a decadent drizzle, the chocolate dome is a showstopperârich, silky, and divine. The lava cake is another must-try, providing that gooey, molten center every dessert lover craves.
We visited twice solely to indulge in these irresistible treats. If I were to rate based on the full dining experience, the entrÃĐe quality would lower my score to a 3. But for a dessert-focused outing, this...
