First of all, a terrific hotel in appearance and design. The food at the poolside restaurant is quite OK. The rooms and the hotel looks terrific, and the bed very comfortable to sleep in! But we would never stayed in this hotell again. A major problem with English skills to the employees, unimaginably bad. The people in reception understand English much better. Follow-up by the pool and in the hotel restaurant is one of the worst we've experienced on holiday. Here you are either ignored, where the employees are keen to talk to each other, or stand on there mobile phones. One is never followed up on how the food tasted, or if you want refills on drinks. Get the bill either in the bar or restaurant can take as much as 20min, then the employees seems little trained on both menus and payment system. The breakfast certainly not for tourists from Europe, with the nearest recognizable for breakfast is toast and eggs, everything else is noodles, rice, and hot dishes. It feels like you get dinner served for breakfast! At breakfast you will neither get greeted, poured coffee, or get accompanied to the table. Here you have to help yourself, the only thing you have is all the flies around you at breakfast. In the hotelroom we have not had hot water in the shower once, and at times it smells very sewage in the bathroom. The hotel is deserted, which gave us challenge to local taxis to manage to find the hotel, and there is nothing near the hotel, at all!! Right in the pool area there is a huge building that only gives the pool 3-4 hours a day with sun. Wich certainly makes the majority staying at the hotel not to be found by the pool area. Now we are changing hotels, and hope that we will never experience a hotel with such a lack of service and hospitality as here. When we have stayed in many hotels in Thailand and never experienced...
Read moreWe were very surprised to find in the internet this relatively new and huge hotel with a sensational price of less than 100€ for a pool suite. We were even more surprised that the reality coincided with the internet. The suite actually has a living room and a bedroom (which is unfortunately not a matter of course in Thailand) and besides a small terrace a nice private pool. The hotel is really good and fully equipped for a four-star house, a little simple and unadorned, but sufficient. A large parking garage, a fast internet without complicated login. We really liked the large bathroom with a spacious shower cabin. The sound insulation is unfortunately not good; you can hear noise from the corridor and also from outside. But nevertheless, we slept really well in the huge bed! A disadvantage is the location of the hotel, far away from the beach, surrounded by construction sites. You can only get to the Beach Road with big detours, without own car it is probably a little complicated. There are indeed many nice beaches, shops and restaurants in the surroundings, but all of them are not walkable within half an hour. To comply with the current crisis regulations, the breakfast has been rearranged, unfortunately, completely brainless. On the narrow corridor (!), stations have been built where large crowds of guests must queue up without any distance for unbearable waiting times in order to get anything. Far too few staff, dirty upholstered furniture and floors. Nobody manager is present. We were there three times and three times it spoiled our day - 1 star deduction. Minibar an empty fridge, room service unknown. Still a good performance...
Read moreAs soon as we arrived, the hotel looked beautiful on the outside and in the reception, however, once we started walking to our room, we could see how old and in need of renovation the accommodation buildings are.
Problems I faced: Our room was not cleaned at all. I didn’t notice it as soon as we got in, but the longer we stayed the more issues I found. In the bedroom, there was hair and dust on the night stand lamps, stained night stands, dirty floors, really stained/dirty curtains. The bathroom was moldy and had a rotten door frame with peeling vinyl on the door. It also smelled really bad, like pee and sewage.
The A/C was very loud, and wouldn’t cool down to the temp set. It felt like it got hotter as the night progressed. I was sweating the entire night and could hardly sleep. The A/C would also shut off at random times through the night.
The walls and door of the hotel room was very thin and I could hear other rooms shutting their doors, walking by our front door, and walking in their rooms.
I came here to relax on vacation, but I was left feeling stressed, dirty, and uncomfortable in my accommodation. The price was low, but for a 4 starred resort, I definitely expected a lot more.
I booked 2 nights, but checked out early and went elsewhere for the 2nd night. The only good thing I have to say was how nice and understanding the receptionist was. They apologized and offered me a room upgrade, but I was scarred and didn’t want to stay anymore. Highly disappointed in the condition of the room. Don’t...
