DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
We were looking for a place to eat without having to travel far so we went here.
When we went in, they sat us outside. The tables/chairs were caked in dust. Then they brought out the menus. Menus were 3 rings binders and it was ripped and torned. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and the guy have no idea what I was talking about and said they don't have this. I had to walk him out to the picture menu they have out front to show him the picture of the dish that they're advertising. He was confused at first then said ,"OK, we can make." I ordered the Tum Yum Kung along with a vegetable dish they called Morning Glory (stir-fried water spinach).
It was very hot and dirty outside so we asked if we can sit inside. The waiter said on and walked us in. The inside was empty and OMG... it was even hotter than outside. They did not turn on the air conditioner until we sat down. I was sweating before the food was out.
When the food came out. I lost my appetite just from visual. The Tom Yum was nothing like the picture as advertised. In the picture, they have jumbo river prawns but when it came out, only 4 or 5 small frozen shrimps. It tasted nothing like what Tom Yum should. Very bland taste and super sour. The Kung Pow taste nothing like it. Look like their Chef just stir-fried some chicken and called it Kung Pow. The water spinach was decent but very spicy. There were 3 of us and we each tasted all 3 dishes and decided that it was all bad. We couldn't get past how bad it was and decided to leave. I asked for the check and was over charged for the Tom Yum. The menu listed a large for 350 and we were charged 380. At this point, I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I paid the bill and left without asking for our food to be pack.
I WOULD NOT recommend this place at all. Service was bad, atmosphere was bad, food was bad. Overall, this...
Read moreI had an extremely troubling experience related to this restaurant, and I feel compelled to share it. My brother was promised a legitimate job here and paid $10,000 upfront as part of the arrangements with agency in Pakistan (Pothohar agency Rawalpindi) However, upon arriving, he was not paid for his work, and his personal belongings and money were taken from him. He had to repeatedly ask for basic necessities like food and haircuts, which were denied unless he begged for them. My brother states there were other Indians and Pakistanis working for months and didn’t get paid. Anyone need further information please do not hesitate to contact me as I don’t want anyone else to go through what my brother been through. If anyone going through same situation, please share your experiences to...
