Izakaya vibe, filled with Japanese patrons , local’s and foreigners.

Food: Tempura using panko, cooked to the perfect crispiness. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horse Mackerel is their specialty. It’s a must try. Delicate and super fresh. Chirashi Zushi (Squid, tuna, snapper, salmon , horse mackerel, marinated mackerel and tamago over rice). It’s a great starter, because you get to try all the fresh fish on their menu.

Although still obviously lead in a Thai manner, the small family team tries their best to provide their guests with the Japanese experience of sushi. The quality of tuna, mackerel, shrimp, salmon and sea bass was just right. I was very surprised by the taste of the cucumber maki. But my personal recommendations are the sea bass and the eel.

We ordered a table full of sashimi, nigiri, maki, and soup. Plus seemingly neverending tea, served in cute little cups - we paid a total of slightly below 1600B, which i find VERY fair. And it was way too much for us, we just couldn't stop tasting through the menu :)

(We had one dish that was really inedible: the fried eggplant, the smoke taste was overbearing unfortunately)

So, all in all I can really recommend this nice little place.

I got gyoza and tonkatsu set, both good, tonkatsu set especially - for 280 b there is a big crunchy pork cutlet, nice portion of fresh cabbage salad with cheesy-mayo dressing, a cup of miso soup, 3 sides of assorted pickles and a big bowl of white rice - all very tasty and very filling, and you get to try a lot of things at once. there is an unlimited complimentary hot or ice green tea. the place is clean and quiet, the menu is easy to navigate with good representative photos of every dish. in the corner there is a shelf with old-school seinen manga and some Japanese literature, which is a nice touch...
