I would like to express my huge dismay towards this restaurant and their management. It used to be my favorite spot but no wonder now there’s almost no people eating there anymore. A supposed to be peaceful dinner turned into a very unpleasant argument between me and their management. I ordered medium rare Beef Wellington since I used to eat there many times with the same order. I was so hungry and so excited that after a long time waiting I can finally eat. When I started eating I noticed that the meat was quite hard to chew. I went on hoping that I would get a nice piece because I totally understand that steaks cannot be evenly cooked at 100%. As I went further, trying to slice an ALMOST RARE steak but surprisingly so difficult to slice that seem like a fight between me and my food, I tried to give it a chance because I didn’t want to waste food and I hate complaining. So I still tried to eat what I had but I couldn’t even chew properly what I was eating because it’s mostly the bad part of the meat. Eventually I realized that I did not get a good one and told myself I am paying for a food priced 525 baht that was like rubber! So I complained to the restaurant and their server came back to me 4-5 times saying that they couldn’t do anything. instead, they blamed me and told me I should have returned the food the first time I sliced it. Hello it’s a steak? not soup where you can tell right away if it’s good or not. So they told me to either accept the bad food that they served and they give me a 10% discount or I can choose a different food on the menu which I DEFINITELY have to pay on top of everything I ordered. I told them I would pay double the price for something if it’s worth it. I did not go there for a drama but plainly to have a peaceful dinner. This is honestly my first surprising experience in a restaurant. I wasn’t asking for a free meal. I was asking for something worth my money and have a decent meal. I had a very terrible experience in that restaurant and will definitely not go back and NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!
Ps. Funny part was I even asked them to take my plate outside again so I could let the other customers judge it for me by letting them slice one of the most rubberised rare steak I ever had. The little things / problems of having service business I think the management should pay more attention to it. you have your own quality food & place don’t ruin just because of how your manage it.
