Avoid at all costs. We had a terrible experience in this restaurant. We recently visited this restaurant and were shocked by the quality and safety of the food served. One of the dishes brought to our table was what was supposed to be fried chicken — instead, we were handed what looked like raw, pink, undercooked meat, full of cartilage and unappetizing cut-offs. We immediately raised our concerns with the staff, who insisted that this is what their “fried chicken” looks like.

Let me be clear: this was not a case of unusual presentation or unfamiliar cooking methods — the chicken appeared dangerously undercooked and entirely inedible. Concerned about the risk of foodborne illness like salmonella, we didn’t touch the meal.

Despite this, when it came time to pay, we were still charged full price. I politely asked why we were being billed for something that was clearly not safe to eat, and I was told it was because we didn’t "cancel" the dish. That is simply not true — we immediately pointed out the issue when the food arrived.

This experience was not just disappointing, it was alarming. Food safety should never be taken lightly, and customer concerns should be met with understanding, not deflection. We won’t be returning, and I sincerely hope this restaurant takes a closer look at their food preparation standards and...

A great place to have lunch or dinner because its shady and cool at daytime. No insekts,no dust! It is covered by a colourfull garden with lots of orchids, flowers and good smelling plants. At the evening it turns into a cozy and romantic place with "nature vibes". Highly recommended!!! Our result: best cook, best, food, damned good cocktails(Mojito👌,MaiTai👍,ao.😊)and a restaurant where we want to eat and be there as often as possible! My friends and me loved it. Try gaeng massaman, somtam, laab duck/or beef and mango sticky rice! You won't regret☆☆☆☆☆ July2025: My wife and me were here-again!in the socalled "lowseason". Wonderful,'cause this restaurant became even more beautiful since our last visit 2024. The food is the best in the island-STILL!! We cannot compare to another restaurant. Bananablossom salad,Gaeng Panaeng,G.Massaman, all other dishes,...and offcours MANGO STICKY RICE - to die for!!! The staff is so nice and warm and we weren't somwhere else for having food(except 2times,what was't comparable). All in all the best lunch-and dining place in the island! Lek is still running the dreamy restaurant...and she does...

What a find! Delicious Thai food made fresh to order. We had the som tam, laab, prawn spring rolls, mussaman curry and mango sticky rice - and they were all fantastic. Lek has a wonderful ability to balance the flavours perfectly. All the food is also beautifully presented - a delight to the eyes as well as the tastebuds. Lek is lovely as are her staff. Airy, attractive dining room surrounded by greenery and flowers. If you like your food spicy, just let them know when you order. And don't forget to slip your shoes off at the door, like the locals do! Update: on our second visit Lek let us know she would be away in Germany working as a chef there during the low/rainy season so she may be gone from late June through to Oct-Nov. Do go before then - you won't be...

Had the duck larb followed by prawns in tamarind sauce. Prawns were cooked perfect and not overdone like so many Thai places. Very attractive restaurant and garden with many pretty orchids and jasmine flowers. On my way out the owner chatted with me and clearly has a passion for what she does and believes in cooking food the right way and not just throwing it out for the masses. She deserves every success and the reviews are testament to the quality she produces. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was frustratingly slow with no updates provided nor apologies. This is in contrast to other restaurants in the area where they tell you upfront if it’s a longer wait time. So highly recommend, but don’t go starving as you will get hangry. The Massaman Curry was insanely good - best we’ve had to date and that’s saying something as we’ve had some really brilliant ones. Green curry also great, but spicy (just flagging!) Enjoy!
