Hinkong restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Very nice, family run restaurant. Good food at very reasonable prices, in a warm and inviting garden setting. The owners were very nice, polite and attentive.

We stopped here for a late lunch while staying at the Koh Yao Yai Village resort close by. We ate the spring roles, green curry chicken and red curry prawn specials, and finished with an excellent mango sticky rice. All the food was excellent and portions were generous.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, especially for anyone staying at the Village resort. The food here is way better (and far more reasonably priced) than the resort restaurant. And do yourself a favor and get a young coconut. Nicely chilled...

Went here twice during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Clean and well presented with a nice ambience in the seating area, especially at night. Food was excellent and thankfully not violently spicy. The freshly made vegetable spring rolls were particularly enjoyed, as was the ovaltine milkshake. Was priced higher than some of the other local restaurants, but isn't exactly expensive and for the location and overall experience definitely worth it. The owner was delightful, and had enough English to tell us all about the island and the people who live here. 10/10...

The best you can find around the area. Prices are good, venue is clean and the food is fresh and tasty! Also the people working there are always very kind. Recomend the green curry, rice with egg you can see in the picture below... but anything you ordered will be fine. Surprised on how good the nuggest + french fries were! Did not give 5* just because it is a basic menu and rural wood decoration, but again, my fav from the area and we tried many during our one week stay! BTW you need to try the ice...
