Nice looking restaurant, good plates and cutlery. We assumed it was more expensive, and we were okay with it. The fried spring rolls were good, not outstanding, but good. The red curry and the drunken noodles were average at most, I would dare say a bit dull and tasteless. The bad note was getting an expired Coke Zero (by over 2 months, in a can, I found out by the taste) and the rest in the fridge were expired as well. I ordered a water, which was warm even though it was retrieved from the fridge. All in all, not horrible, but not worth paying 2 or 3 times more than more unassuming alternatives around. Traveling to Koh Yao Yai in September, at the peak of rainy season, we didn’t have high expectations regarding food, especially since the island is quieter and less frequented by tourists than other places in southern Thailand. Very nice Thai meal at this restaurant, very quick service and attentive staff made us feel very welcome. The only downside is the price, it is pricey for what you get but is cheaper than the other restaurants in the vicinity.
